2.0 MW LANDFILL GAS TO ENERGY

Our renewable energy client needed to build a 2 MW landfill gas fueled power plant. The new facility consisted of a flare unit, landfill gas cleaning skid, used and fresh oil tanks, gas condensate storage tank, and 2 reciprocating engine drive generators rated at 1.0 MW gross output each.

Dynamic Engineering Design was responsible for equipment layout (general arrangement) and piping design for the power plant. Utilities included landfill gas, chilled water, cooling water, instrument air, and engine oil supply and return.

Process engineering was also provided for this project.

Dynamic Engineering Design also provided electrical design, instrumentation, and controls engineering for this project.
