COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM STUDY

Our aerospace client in Indianapolis, IN requested an overall review of their existing compressed air system to eliminate their existing reciprocating plant air compressors and decentralize the compressed air generation and improve efficiency.

Dynamic Engineering Design studied historical data and the existing plant distribution system to determine average and peak demands for compressed air in various areas of the overall facility.  This data was utilized to provide a plan to install new compressed air equipment.  The plan included the size and quantity of variable speed packaged compressors at multiple locations, a dryer system for each location, and a receiver for each location.  The plan also determined how to connect the new compressor systems with the existing compressed air distribution system.

At the conclusion of the study Dynamic Engineering Design completed a project estimate based on the recommendations from the study.  This material and labor estimate included the equipment, piping, and electrical portions of the project.
