Our Steel client needed to have an independent review of their acid tanks at a facility which they had purchased.

Dynamic Engineering Design reviewed the installation and existing documentation, checked foundation and vessel calculations, and reviewed pumping and piping systems and records of inspection.

The volume of the secondary containment was calculated and verified to meet the code requirements.

Coating and component materials of construction were reviewed for compatibility and use for containment.

A final report was delivered which included the state forms and checklists along with foundation and tank drawings, catalog cuts for the components, deficiencies identified, along with our recommended corrective actions.

Recommendations included both physical structural improvements to the installation and procedural improvements for logging and documenting the routine inspections.
